HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC (WTOC) -
A trial for a Hilton Head Island man facing 17 counts of animal cruelty took place Friday. The charges were made after someone complained about the conditions at the man's family farm.
The charges against Michal Cohen Jr. allege that drinking water for the horses, pigs and dogs, was dirty or not available and that some animals did not have adequate shelter.
Right now, no fines have been issues. The next court date is set for April 22.
