The Three Musketeers coming to Savannah


The Savannah College of Art and Design performing arts department presents "The Three Musketeers."

This version is Ken Ludwig's family-friendly adventure adapted from the novel by Alexandre Dumas and directed by SCAD Performing Arts Artistic Director Sharon Ott with fight choreography by SCAD professor Martin Noyes.  

Ludwig is an internationally acclaimed playwright who's had hits on Broadway, in London's West End and throughout the world. He has won two Laurence Olivier Awards and received three Tony Award nominations. Ludwig's work has also been commissioned by the Royal Shakespeare Company and performed in thirty countries in over twenty languages.

Ludwig's adaption made its debut in 2006 at the famous Bristol Old Vic and received ecstatic reviews. 

Performances of "The Three Musketeers" are February 28 – March 2, at 8 p.m., and March 3, at 3 p.m. at the Lucus Theatre, 32 Abercorn Street. Tickets are $25 for adults, $10 for anyone under 18 and those with senior, student or military ID and $5 for SCAD students with ID. The February 28 performance is free to those who have a valid SCAD I.D.

SCAD Performing Arts is offering a special $50 family package for the show, including tickets for two adult and two children under 18, available Friday, March 1 - Sunday, March 3.
