Checkpoint set for Tuesday night on Lady's Island

LADY'S ISLAND, SC (WTOC) -

The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office Special Enforcement Unit will be conducting a traffic checkpoint on Tuesday night.

The checkpoint will be set up from 8 to 10 p.m. Tuesday at Lady's Island Dr at Islands Causeway.

The checkpoint will be conducted to enforce South Carolina state laws, with emphasis on violations on driver's licenses, vehicle registrations and insurance.

Drivers passing through the checkpoint need to show their driver's license, registration and proof of insurance for the vehicle.
