Ga. Supreme Court upholds murder conviction

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Georgia's high court has upheld the conviction and life sentence of a Savannah man who gunned down a teenager.

Marquis Young wanted the Georgia Supreme Court to take action, but it won't happen. Young was convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison for killing an 18 year old in 2006.

A man who repairs water towers collapsed more than 100 feet in the air above Cobbtown. Fire and rescue crews had to climb to the top of the tower and lower him to safety.
