MIAMI, Feb. 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Viva Wyndham Resorts announced today that it is expanding its sports and activities and Borboleta Infant Program. The additions further demonstrate the all-inclusive resort company's commitment to designing a vacation experience with compelling offerings and memorable life moments.
Viva Wyndham Resorts now offers paddle boarding as part of its all-inclusive package at its six properties located throughout the Caribbean and Mexico. All of Viva Wyndham's resort properties are nestled on prime beach locations and overlook pristine ocean waters.
Further expanding its sports and activities options, Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach will offer paintball starting on April 1. This activity will be available on site, twice daily and includes gear plus 30 paintballs free of charge. Guests who would like to purchase an additional 50 paintballs can do so for $10. The Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach, located in Freeport on Grand Bahama Island, Bahamas and only 13 miles from Freeport Airport, is the only all-inclusive resort on the island. It is surrounded by tropical forests, faces an expansive beach and one of the world's largest reef systems is located just off shore which makes for memorable snorkeling.
The Borboleta Infant Program, currently available at the Viva Wyndham Maya and Viva Wyndham Azteca located in Playacar, Riviera Maya, Mexico, will be offered at the Viva Wyndham Dominicus Beach and Viva Wyndham Dominicus Palace located in La Romana, Dominican Republic starting May 1. The Program, which is part of the all-inclusive package, includes the needed essentials such as a changing station, baby bathtub, bottle sterilizer, bouncer and more, so that families do not have to travel with the bigger items. Additionally, the Viva Wyndham Dominicus Beach will offer extended hours at the Kid's Club from 7 a.m. – 10 p.m. daily. The extended hours are also available at the Viva Wyndham Maya and Viva Wyndham Azteca.
