Body discovered off Interstate 95 in Richmond Hill

RICHMOND HILL, GA (WTOC) -

The identity of a body found Wednesday in Richmond Hill is expected by Friday.

Richmond Hill police said a body was found at about 9:30 a.m. Wednesday off of Interstate 95 southbound at Georgia Hwy 144.

The body has been sent to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation crime lab in Atlanta - since the savannah branch is currently closed.

Police said the death is still under investigation.
