SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -
On Wednesday, crews redirected traffic for a paving project near North Truman Parkway on Abercorn.
Construction was right in front of Oak Bluff Subdivision and Mistwood.
Neighbors say it's been going on for at least eight months, but they're waiting patiently and hoping for safer roads.
"I'm excited
about it because I know it will make things easier for getting out to Richmond
Hill or going to Armstrong going out that way. We are excited about I," said
Hannah Stewart, Savannah.
Motorists are
still being urged to drive with caution through the construction zone.
