Gould Elementary students take part in Math and Science Night - WTOC-TV: Savannah, Beaufort, SC, News, Weather & Sports

Gould Elementary held Math and Science Night Thursday. The event featured a lot of hands-on activities, a quiz bowl and door prizes. Representatives from several different companies were also there to demonstrate how math and science are used in the real world.

"It is to see and show kids what math is really about, or science, and how they can actually have fun in it. And hopefully one day they may pick a career in those," said Vernon Cole, Gould Elementary School principal.

WTOC also had a booth at the event.
