4-vehicle wreck clogs I-95 traffic near Bryan County

BRYAN CO., GA (WTOC) -

A four-vehicle wreck on I-95 at Hwy 204 had traffic backed up for miles Friday morning.

The wreck occurred around 7 a.m. Friday in the southbound lanes of I-95 just past the 204 exit and the Ogeechee River near the Bryan County line.

Witnesses said the driver of a Jaguar hit the guard rail. The car went across all three lanes of traffic, causing a semi to rear-end a minivan.

No one was injured in the crash. The driver of the silver minivan was very shaken up, but refused to be transported to the hospital.

The southbound lanes of I-95 were blocked for about an hour while crews clear the wreckage from the scene. Traffic could be seen backed up for several miles.

The wreck was cleared by 8 a.m. Georgia State Patrol is looking into the cause of the wreck.
