Identity of body found on I-95 still not released

RICHMOND HILL, GA (WTOC) -

Police still have not released the identity of the body found in Richmond Hill Wednesday.

They said they are waiting for the coroner to finish the autopsy.

The body was discovered along I-95 south at Ga. Hwy 144 around 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

The death is still under investigation, but authorities do not suspect foul play.

The body is at the GBI Crime Lab in Atlanta. It was sent there because the Savannah branch is currently closed.
