Bethesda Academy seeks volunteer docents for new museum

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

An award winning school is looking for volunteers to help share their new museum with the public.

Bethesda Academy will officially be opening the William H. Ford, Sr. Museum and Visitor Center on March 22.

Volunteer docents are needed during regular museum hours, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday through Saturday. They will have the opportunity to share Bethesda's history with visitors that come to the museum.

The new museum includes 2,200 square feet of exhibition space and will feature interactive exhibits, photographs, video, oral histories, and artifacts telling the school's story.
