BLUFFTON, SC (WTOC) -
Firefighters responded to a fire at the Eagle's Pointe Golf Course in Bluffton Friday night. Authorities say the fire ignited at a storage building that had at least 75 golf carts inside. It took crews about an hour to get it under control.
"With the amount of batteries in there, some of the acid run off from the batteries was a concern of ours. We got some storm drains blocked off so the water is not contaminated," said Capt. Randy Hunter, Bluffton Township Fire Department.
No one was hurt in the blaze. The Fire Marshal is investigating to see how the fire started.
