HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC (WTOC) -
Great event helping out a community Saturday. More than 120 members of the Rotary Club of Hilton Head Island will be participating in 11 community service projects. The collective effort is called Rotary ROCS (Rotarians Offering Community Service).
The activities range from clean up to path refurbishing to wall painting and office help. The projects or venues that will be helped out are the: Honey Horn Plantation, Deep Well, Mitchelville, HH Symphony Orchestra, Jarvis Creek Park, Safety Town Buildings, Children's Center, Coastal Discovery Museum, and Town Bike Kiosks.
This is the first time the club has organized such a broad range of "hands on" service effort on a single day.
