The First Tee of Savannah hosting the inaugural "M-Power" seminar Saturday.
The event for girls ages eleven to seventeen is meant to educate girls on topics such as self esteem, financial planning, getting ready for college and a whole lot more. Forty-two girls participated in Saturday's event.
"This program today is important for young ladies because it enables them to acquire skills in the areas that have been offered to them so that they can be bright and succesful young women's in today's society," said Sister Donna Banfield.
