Local students perform in the All State Chorus this weekend

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

36 students from the Savannah Chatham school district are participating in the 2013 All State Chorus this weekend in the Savannah Civic Center.

The All State Chorus is a prestigious event in which outstanding middle and high school choral students from across the state are scored on their vocal performance abilities.

The event began on Thursday. On Saturday the groups got the chance to hold a concert for family and friends to enjoy.
