SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

The Savannah branch of the NAACP presented "The Life Journey of W.W. Law" at the First Bryan Baptist Church on Sunday.

Guest speakers discussed three distinct phases of Mr. Law's rich formidable life, including the early years, the civil rights movement and the post NAACP years.

Afterwards there was music and dancing to round out the program.

"We're delighted, but we're not surprised because the people who are here today are people who recognize mr. law's contribution and are eager to recognize his tenure is this community," said Richard Shinhoster, vice president of the Savannah branch of the NAACP.

Today's event was held in conjunction with the monthly meeting for the Savannah branch of the NAACP.
