School bus rear-ended at railroad crossing

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Metro police responded to a wreck involving a school bus early Monday morning.

It happened shortly before 7 a.m. at the railroad crossing on Anderson Street just past the East Broad Street intersection.

Police say a school bus was rear-ended by another vehicle. There was only one student on board at the time. No injuries were reported.

The road was cleared by 7:45 a.m. and no delays are expected during the morning commute.
