Public sequestration meeting set for Monday in Lowcountry

BEAUFORT, SC (WTOC) -

The local branch of the American Federation of Government Employees will be holding an emergency meeting Monday in the Lowcountry to discuss how sequestration will affect government employees.

The meeting will begin at 4:30 p.m. at Gilligan's Restaurant on Boundary Street in Beaufort. It is open to the public, however, organizers do stress the meeting is meant for government employees and their families.
