1 person killed in collision with school bus

A vehicle and a school bus were involved in a collision in Wayne County.

WAYNE CO., GA (WTOC) -

One person is dead after a crash involving a school bus and a pickup truck. The person killed was not riding in the school bus.

The collision happened afternoon in Wayne County.

The crash occurred after 3 p.m. at Nesbit Road and Hwy 341, which is in between Odum and Jesup.

A dozen children are headed to the hospital. Their injuries are not believed to be serious.
