Jury reaches verdict in Olde Pink House standoff trial
SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -
On Monday, a jury convicted Kevin Brooks and Brian Jones, the suspects in the May standoff at the Olde Pink House, of two counts of false imprisonment, armed robbery and aggravated assault on Earl Hamilton Jr.
Brooks and Jones were both found not guilty of aggravated assault on Earl David Hamilton, the son of Earl Hamilton Jr.
Brooks was also found guilty of possession of a controlled substance (cocaine) and was found not guilty of kidnapping.
They are currently being held in the Chatham County Jail. The men will be sentenced on a later day.
