If you are an Elvis fan, you're going to want to check out the Kiss-a-Pig fund-raiser taking place Tuesday in downtown Savannah.
Statesboro's Russ Lanier and the 20-piece Dream Team Band are bringing their show, "Down at the End of Lonely Street," to the Trustees Theater in Savannah to benefit the Kiss-a-Pig Campaign for the American Diabetes Association.
Russ himself is a diabetic, as was his brother, Tracy, who died of the disease at age 49.
"It's called the slow, savage killer. He was so young and vital and became an old man." Lanier stated about his late brother.
The fund-raiser will take place Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Trustees.
Funds raised during the Kiss-a-Pig campaign benefit American Diabetes Association, the nation's leading organization dedicated to curing diabetes and improving the lives of all people affected by diabetes.
