Missing woman who traveled to SC found safe in the Philippines

South Carolina Law Enforcement Division officials say a missing 46-year-old woman was found safe in the Philippines.
The Kershaw County Sheriff's Office was searching for Arseli Read who traveled to the Midlands to meet a friend and never returned home.
The report said Read flew from Australia to South Carolina and checked into the Ramada hotel located at 542 Hwy 601 S. in Lugoff on Jan. 20. According to the investigators, Ms. Read came to the Midlands to meet a male friend named Vick.
Deputies say Read checked out of the hotel on Jan. 21. She was scheduled to arrive in Australia on Feb. 20, but never did, according to a report.
