A former Hampton County school resource officer is facing more charges.
Larry Heyward was re-arrested and charged Wednesday after more people accused him of sexual abuse.
Heyward
has been charged with one count of criminal sexual conduct with a minor, a
felony with penalties of up to 15 years in prison, a fine at the discretion of
the court, or both. He was also charged with misconduct in office, a
misdemeanor with penalties of up to one
year in prison and/or a fine of up to $1,000.
Heyward
was first arrested and charged on Jan. 5, 2013 with two counts of criminal
sexual conduct with a minor and one count of misconduct in office.
