Crews respond to small kitchen fire

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Crews responded to a small fire at a house at 62nd Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard Thursday night.

According to authorities, two women forgot to turn off the stove when they were done cooking and something caught on fire.

The two women and their three dogs all got out safely.

The fire was under control in a few minutes.
