Fire breaks out at 53rd Street home

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Firefighters responded to a house fire on 53rd Street Thursday night.

It appears that just about everything in one of the rooms was destroyed.

There is no word yet on how the fire started.

The Savannah Sand Gnats team and fans are supporting Team Cooper. The one and a half year old has been diagnosed with Dravet Syndrome, a severe epilepsy of infancy.
