A judge denied bond Friday morning for a Hinesville couple who's charged in connection with the death of their 3-year-old girl.

Torres Boles and Candice Boles were arrested Wednesday and charged with child cruelty. The girl was found dead at their home Wednesday morning.

Torres Boles has now been charged with murder and cruelty to children. Candice Boles is charged with party to the crime of felony murder and cruelty to children.

Hinesville police said the child's death was suspicious in nature.

Chief of Detectives Thomas Cribbs said the child's father, who is a Fort Stewart soldier, placed a call shortly before 8 a.m. Wednesday about the child being unconscious.

An officer found the child in the hallway of a home on Bannon Court. The father, Torres Boles, reported to police that after getting to work, his wife called him to say their child was not breathing, according to a police report. The father then returned home and immediately called 911.

Both remain at the Liberty County jail.

On Friday, it was also confirmed that the couple has another child.

"The child was taken by the Department of Family Services and they are providing for that child's welfare until a juvenile court can have some hearings to determine what to do with the child from there," said Detective Doug Snider, Hinesville Police Department.
