RICHMOND HILL, GA (WTOC) -
The American Cancer Society has gone to the dogs…literally.
"Bark For Life" is a fund-raising event that teams dogs and their owners to celebrate cancer survivors and to honor people and pets who lost their fight to cancer.
This event supports cancer research, education, patient services and advocacy while showcasing the irresistible relationship between survivors and their canine companions.
"Bark For Life" will be held Saturday, March 9, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at J.F. Gregory Park, in Richmond Hill. On-site registration begins at 9:30 a.m with opening ceremonies at 10 a.m. Registration is also available online for only $10 per dog or on-site for $20 per dog. All pre-registered dogs are guaranteed a participant welcome bag and an official "Bark For Life" bandana.
