Girl Scouts to honor Trellis Payne as Woman of Distinction

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Trellis Payne helped create the Savannah Arts Academy Fashion Show for the Sustainable Set. The Girl Scouts are honoring her as a Woman of Distinction. Payne says the skills from scouting contributed to her success.

"The Girl Scout way, the motto, be a good citizen, is so important," said Payne.

The Girl Scouts will honor the Women of Distinction at a luncheon Friday at the Morris Center.
