HINESVILLE, GA (WTOC) -

One person is seriously injured in a crash Thursday afternoon involving a motorcycle and car occurred on General Screven and Oglethorpe Highway in Hinesville.

It happened at about 3:34 p.m. The woman was traveling westbound on Oglethorpe Highway when a car leaving the Kroger parking lot was making a left and the motorcyclist hit the rear of the car, throwing the motorcycle rider from the bike.

A medical helicopter just landed in the big lots parking lot next to the. A woman was flown by Lifestar to Memorial University Medical Center. The road is clear and back open.
