SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -
The Savannah City Council has
postponed a decision for 30 days on a proposal for a restaurant to go up at the
corner of Drayton and Liberty streets.
Auresh Kheradmandi, an entrepreneur, had plans for a tapas restaurant
at the location.
Some residents objected to the
plan. They said there's not enough parking and congested enough as it is without
adding a restaurant.
The Metropolitan Planning Commission agreed and rezoned the area
for a restaurant, but area residents say parking is too sparse as it is. The
decision went before the Savannah City Council.
