Two arrested after drug trafficking marijuana

BULLOCH CO., GA (WTOC) -

Two people are behind bars after a chase Thursday in Bulloch County.

Deputies and State Troopers tried to stop a trailblazer they heard would be picking up a large amount of marijuana. They ended up using the P.I.T. maneuver to stop the SUV on Coley Boyd Road.

Javontae Parrish and Marlana Nevels were arrested and about 10 pounds of pot was recovered. Both are charged with trafficking marijuana.
