Supporters not giving up on Hardeeville casino

HARDEEVILLE, SC (WTOC) -

Supporters of an Indian casino resort are not giving up but the city manager says he has not heard of any progress.

Gov. Nikki Haley has opposed the project since its proposal and now some worry the project will not happen.

Hardeeville's city manager says the project will not happen without the governor's approval.

Plans for the 400 room casino on U.S. 278 in Hardeeville were unveiled last winter.
