Tow to Go, Green Team offered during St. Patrick's Day festivities
SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -
AAA and Bud Light are offering two types of free roadside help over St. Patrick's Day weekend in Savannah.
They're providing Tow to Go and the Green Team on Friday and Saturday. St. Patrick's Day weekend has become the second busiest holiday for the Tow to Go program next to New Year's Eve weekend, according to AAA. The auto club plans to add more service vehicles.
Tow to Go is a free service that offers those who have had too much to drink a confidential ride home within a 10-mile radius from downtown Savannah. Service is based on available resources, according to AAA.
The Green Response Team will also be riding Segways downtown to provide what AAA calls "ecofriendly road service" – which includes jump starts, fixing flat tires and helping drivers who have locked themselves out of their cars.
Tow to Go confidential local rides home: 855.2.TOW.2.GO or 855.286.9246.
Green Team offers assistance on fully equipped Segways with auto lockouts, jump starts, and flat tires by calling 877. 222.7111.
