SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -
A public open
house is being held Tuesday to talk about a new joint venture involving the Elba
Island Liquified Natural Gas terminal in Savannah.
The plan involves beginning a new exportation of the natural
gas, but it does not involve trucking the materials, which caused public outcry
and a fight from the city of Savannah that the city eventually won.
The companies involved are inviting the public to an open
house from 5 to 8 p.m. at Savannah Tech to learn more about the project.
