Greg Parker issues branding challenge to businesses

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Does Savannah need to rebrand itself?

That's what business owner Greg Parker suggested. He addressed the Downtown Business Association on Wednesday afternoon at the Lady and Sons. He issued a branding challenge to the business community.

"Branding is about having a single idea. It's the hub of the wheel with the spokes that attach to it. I want to suggest that Savannah should claim the moniker: America's Most Beautiful City. I think it should be on every police car, every fire truck, every city vehicle. I think it should be on the mayor's letterhead. And, I think every time somebody should speak, when they're talking about Savannah, they should say, 'I'm Greg Parker from America's Most Beautiful City,'" he said.
