Police identify victim in West Bay St. shooting

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police are investigating the shooting death of a man on West Bay Street Wednesday morning.

At about 1:03 a.m., Downtown Precinct patrol officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 1300 block of West Bay Street and found the victim shot to death.

Police have identified the victim as William Bass Jr., 33, of Savannah.
