Former Savannah City Manager Rochelle Small-Toney.
FAYETTEVILLE, NC (WTOC) -
The city of Fayetteville in North Carolina has hired former Savannah City Manager Rochelle Small-Toney as a Deputy City Manager.
Small-Toney will oversee Community Investment departments, including Special Projects, Human Relations, Community Development, Development Services and Engineering & Infrastructure.
The city of Fayetteville also hired Dele Smith who will work alongside of Small-Toney as Assistant City Manager.
"I am excited about the addition of Ms. Small-Toney and Ms. Smith to our organization," City Manager Ted Voorhees said in a news release. "Both managers will be integral to the City Manager's Office and the oversight of our departments. I am looking forward to the knowledge and expertise they will provide to the City of Fayetteville. They will be great assets to our organization and the citizens we serve."
Small-Toney's start date will be Mar. 18 and her salary will be $158,500.
