Wienermobile delivers Meals on Wheels

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile was in Savannah on Thursday delivering Meals on Wheels to senior citizens.

The 27-foot-long iconic vehicle arrived at Senior Citizens Inc. at 3025 Bull St. at 10:30 a.m. Thursday to a crowd of staff, board members, clients and friends.

Oscar Mayer Wienermobile Brand Ambassadors or "Hotdoggers", Hot Diggity Holly and Lots of Ketchup Lisa, delivering a hot meals to homebound seniors in west Savannah, according to a news release.

Meals on Wheels program through Senior Citizens Inc. delivers more than 1,800 hot lunches daily to seniors throughout a five-county area of coastal Georgia.
