SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

The co-owner of two Savannah insurance companies has been charged with defrauding some of his customers.

Workers' compensation regulators with the state of Georgia say Marc Coleman took more than $2,500 from people looking to buy workers' comp insurance coverage. The proof of insurance cards he gave them were bogus.

Coleman is the co-owner of Arrow Auto Insurance and Walker Auto Insurance.

He has been charged with seven counts of insurance fraud.
