SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

The Irish Air Corps Pipe Band traveled to Savannah for the 14th time to march in the St. Patrick's Day Parade.

They arrived mid-week and said they've just been enjoying the city.

They represent not only Ireland as a country, but also the government and military forces there.

As the parade kicked off they were one of the first groups to step off from the starting line near the Mansion near Forsyth Park.

One member said, other than the people of Ireland, the people of Savannah are some of the nicest he's ever met.
