An Anchorage, Alaska woman who was killed on Interstate 95 Friday night has been identified.
In a release from Savannah-Chatham Metro Police Saturday, Angela Velvet Reynolds, 27, was declared dead on the scene around 11:15 p.m. after she walked into path of a vehicle traveling northbound on Interstate 95.
The Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) of the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department discovered Reynolds was riding in a vehicle that stopped on the interstate. Reynolds exited the vehicle and walked into the path of a Nissan Pathfinder driven by a Savannah woman.
The Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) is still investigating this incident.
