Son charged in father's shooting death

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

An investigation is under way into a deadly shooting involving a son and father.

Savannah-Chatham Metro Police have arrested and charged Torres Antwan Burroughs, 23, with the shooting death of his father.

Police say the shooting happened on Mossy Court off of Quacco Road Sunday around 6 p.m. after some sort of domestic dispute.

Frank Torres Burroughs, 46, was shot and taken to Memorial University Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.

The shooting remains under investigation.
