Brig. Gen. Lori Reynolds
BEAUFORT, SC (WTOC) -
The first female Marine Corps
general is speaking publicly about women in combat.
The Island Packet reports Brig. Gen.
Lori Reynolds at Parris Island said that lifting the ban will allow commanders
to use the talent they already have in their units.
Reynolds said about 3,000 women
have graduated from the basic training at Parris Island. The ban on women in
combat was lifted earlier this year.
