Man shot in Garden City late Monday night

GARDEN CITY, GA (WTOC) -

Police in Garden City are investigating a shooting.

They say a man was shot in the chest shortly before 11 p.m. Monday night. It happened at the Plantation Townhouses off Denmark Street.

The man was taken to a hospital. Police are not yet releasing his name.

No word yet on what lead to the shooting or if police have any suspects.
