EFFINGHAM CO., GA (WTOC) -

Plans are being announced Tuesday morning for what's being called America's largest movie studio in Effingham County.  


The studio is projected to create 400 jobs and expected to increase to 1,200 jobs. Medient Studios is slated to be 1,500 acres and will include sound stages, animation studios and DVD production.

Plans call for the facility to be all solar and hydro powered.
