Tree falls onto Claxton home

CLAXTON, GA (WTOC) -

Volunteers with the Evans County Disaster Action Team helped a Claxton family after their house was damaged by a storm Monday night.

A tree fell on the family's Church Street home.  The damage put two adults and three children, ages 17, 10 and 4 years, out of their home. The home sustained major damage. No one was hurt.  

Red Cross volunteers provided the family funds for food, clothing and temporary shelter.
