According to investigators, Johnson interfered in a domestic dispute between his sister and the sister's boyfriend Tyrecquiss Wells. The argument escalated and ended with Wells, 22, shot in the chest and the alleged gunman's sister shot in the ear.
We spoke exclusively with a neighbor that lives two doors down from where the shooting happened.
"There was a lot of ringing of our door bell and banging on the door. My mother opened the door and the [victim's girlfriend] said, I've been shot! Can you call 911," said the neighbor. "My mother then called 911 and tried to calm the girl down and control her bleeding."
The neighbor said the injured girl kept repeating, "He shot me, he shot me, he shot me!'"
"She would not tell me [who shot her]," said the neighbor. "Then, I looked outside and I saw my neighbors and there was a lot of commotion going on," the woman said.
The neighbor said she ran out of her house with no concern for her own safety. "That's when I saw my neighbor lying in his driveway, he was shot."
The woman said she had to act quickly.
"I went into my trunk and got a t-shirt to try to put pressure on his wound."
She said Wells was conscious and told her he didn't know how many times he was shot but he heard three shots.
Wells was rushed to the Medical Center but was quickly transported to a hospital in Macon. Investigators reported Wells had fragments near his heart and required surgery.
We spoke with Wells' father who says he's not doing well; he's currently listed in unsatisfactory condition.
