(RNN) - Surveillance cameras and dashcams in Washington and Delaware caught what looks like a meteor on video, streaking across the sky Friday evening.
NASA reported that the light was likely a meteor.
People noticed the flash from Delaware to New Jersey, CNN reports.
In some cases, reports described a "popcorn" sound, which is apparently not uncommon for meteors.
