SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Youth volunteers from two Bull Street Baptist Church affiliates in Florida have partnered with Savannah-Chatham Metro Police and the city of Savannah in a community cleanup project.

On March 21, 32 teens and adults from Nothland Church Distributed in Longwood, Fla. traveled to Savannah's Cuyler-Brownsville neighborhood to gather trash, remove vines from fences, mow and rake overgrown gas. The volunteers performed these tasks in city rights of way and in lawns belonging to seniors and disabled citizens.

150 teens and adults from First Baptist Church of West Palm Beach, Fla. will also be offering the same services in the Live Oak, Feiler Park and Tatumville neighborhoods Monday through Wednesday.
