Chatham County School Buses Back in Service

Students in Chatham County are back in class. And for students riding the bus, the day went well. There was a minor incident when one bus hit the side of a van and knocked off the rear-view mirror. An incident report was filed, but nobody was hurt.

All in all, Laidlaw officials were pleased. "Three hundred two buses were out there this morning. Again we're very happy with the way things went," said the company's Rufus Smith. "Everything was safe and went smoothly and in order."

You can call Laidlaw's hotline at 201-5591 for any comments, questions and inquiries about you child's bus service.
